Tour Highlights
Batur Sunrise Trekking is a popular activity in Bali, Indonesia where tourists hike to the summit of Mount Batur to watch the sunrise over the beautiful landscape. Mount Batur is an active volcano located in the Kintamani district of Bali, and it stands at an elevation of 1,717 meters above sea level.
The trek usually starts very early in the morning (around 2 or 3 am) and takes around 2-3 hours to reach the summit. The hike is considered moderately difficult, but it is doable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness. Along the way, you will pass through dense forests and volcanic landscapes before reaching the peak.
Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the sunrise over the mountains, valleys, and lakes. It is truly a magical experience and a must-do activity if you’re visiting Bali.
It’s recommended to join a guided tour for the Batur Sunrise Trekking, as they will provide you with a knowledgeable guide, transportation to and from the trailhead, and other necessary equipment such as flashlights and water.
Tour Itinerary
- 45 – 02.30 am: Pick up in your villa/ hotel /guest house or AirBnB all around Bali.
- 45 am – Reaching the starting point and then introduction to the guide.
- 50 am – Start your hike, will takes approximate 2 hours to the top.
- 50 am – Arrive at the top enjoying sunrise and having breakfast.
- 00 am – Exploring the main crater and then descend to different way.
- 00 am – Arrive back at car park and then visit coffee plantation.
- 00 am – Visiting the coffee plantation (optional free).
- 30 am – 12.00 pm – Estimate reaching your accommodation (hotel).
